Alaypayuthe

Every saree here is handwoven on a traditional loom in Balaramapuram or Kuthampully — the two towns at the heart of Kerala's kasavu tradition. The kasavu is woven into the cloth, never printed onto it.

We don't order by the bale. Each piece is picked by hand, and most are the only one of their kind in the collection. When a saree is gone, it's gone.

Every saree arrives with its matching running blouse. And we describe each one exactly as the weaver made it — the body, the kara, the pallu. No borrowed adjectives.
